Learning to love and live as your authentic self is a deeply important commitment to your well-being and personal growth, but this can be challenging in a world where others often pressure us to fit their expectations. Allow me to create and hold space for your authentic self as we encourage and empower it to unfold with confidence! Together we will use the tools of self-love and self-compassion to heal the shame that stands between you and the life you want. We cannot hate ourselves into healing, but we can love ourselves into wholeness.
As a Certified Trauma-Informed therapist, my goal is to create a shame-free environment where you can identify and make the adjustments needed to live in alignment with your own personal values. I integrate somatic (body-centered) techniques to help regulate the nervous system, cognitive strategies to shift limiting beliefs, and behavioral interventions that support lasting change. I strive to provide a safe, inclusive space for clients of all identities, and I’m committed to affirming and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in their unique experiences. I am especially passionate about working with women who have experienced any form of domestic violence (physical, verbal, emotional, financial, etc.) and are seeking relief from ongoing symptoms of relational trauma.
Beyond my work as a therapist, I enjoy travel, reading, yoga, playing with my two cats, and other practices that keep me aligned with my own values of self-reflection, empathy, and connectedness.
